The 1911 is a venerable, though sometimes finicky, pistol design. it is also more popular than ever with a lot of entry level 1911s on the market at very reasonable prices. With those budget friendly guns flooding the market there are lots of problems that shooters can run into (which can usually be solved by reading the instruction manual) so here is another American Gunsmithing Institute course, this one concentrating on how to troubleshoot and solve problems with 1911s. It’s aimed at gunsmiths so some of the material may not be viable for you but the knowledge will help yo if you’re like me and like the good ol 1911.
